How good are composite decking boards?

Has anyone here already gained experience with these new composite decking boards? I mean this new "liquid wood" from manufacturers like Megawood, Werzalith, or Rettenmeier. Is something like this really an alternative to real wood? How does the material perform in practice? What about the appearance and durability?

The alpenheini has surely already found the right one. I have now installed [Terrassendielen] from Megawood. In terms of appearance, they are just as good as the other materials. The manufacturer guarantees a long lifespan. These boards are slip-resistant and the joint spacing is 7 mm. The advantage is that these boards can be installed on both sides.

I have never heard that there are composite decking boards. They are definitely much cheaper than conventional decking boards. Our terrace also needs to be redone, that would be a good alternative.

I have experience with Megawood and had terrace boards sent from there. Everything worked out perfectly and it looks really good. My brother installed them and he is the expert. I can only recommend it.
