Hello everyone,
we want to enhance our terrace with porcelain stoneware tiles (60x60) on pedestals.
Generally no problem.
However, we have a rainwater downpipe that is about 5cm away from the wall.
We want to lay the tiles up to the wall.
Now I am wondering:
How do I get the tiles around the rainwater downpipe?
Unfortunately, the downpipe is fixed, or I can't remove it.
If it were loose, I would simply lay the tiles and then drill a hole and reinstall the pipe. Done.
Now I thought that I would start the joint around the rainwater downpipe and then cut two tiles semicircularly at the appropriate spot.
But somehow that doesn't seem like a great idea to me.
Especially since I don't know how to make the cuts. Diamond core bit is out, as is an angle grinder.
Maybe you have an idea what can be done.
Best regards
Mattes
