House purchase - Is our planning working?!

Unfortunately, no one is creditworthy during the probationary period. You just have to be patient now.

Unfortunately, that's not entirely true. The topic also came up during the financing. There are banks that generally reject requests during the probationary period. However, there are also some for whom that is not a problem. If you receive a note from the employer stating roughly that they intend to change the contract to a permanent one after the probationary period and are interested in the employee, that would not be an obstacle.

Apparently, things are more complicated for us than for some others...

We had a house viewing today with the same real estate agent. The house wasn’t really for us, but she told us things about the other house (from the first post). The person who bought it hasn’t even seen the house from the inside. The current owner apparently wasn’t there that day, so he probably only looked at the house from the outside and immediately agreed. He apparently wants to move in himself... We can’t stop shaking our heads. Apparently, some people really just have too much money or are...

In our current multi-family house (3 condominiums), one of them has now been sold for 225,000. It is comparable to ours, but we have expanded the attic (50 sqm, of which about 25-30 sqm is usable space). So you could roughly estimate 230,000-250,000.
