I can relate to that very well ;-)

A quiet location with a connection to the nearest big city is the goal.

And unfortunately, most young families want that :-(

@ This is probably the main reason for 99% of homebuyers, but when the majority of people are simply not sane anymore, there is no other choice. 5 km more already makes a big difference, although we could then have very large plots, but that would be a bit too far. The proximity to the workplace and the current garden makes it less possible.
