Thank you friends! I actually didn’t mention all the details, but I was only looking for a rough opinion. If you include the foundation and the intermediate ceiling, it really adds up. We will have an open roof truss with a ceiling height of 5.5m in the living room (L floor plan), that will make up for everything. I had just hoped to get 2.75m on the ground floor because I have always lived in old buildings and that is simply great. The building plots at the outer edge are not allowed to be that high (ours is there) so that the houses in the middle are allowed to look outward. We definitely measured again. Guest WC, utility room, and bedroom then have a height of 2.58 which is okay. Upstairs you then have a higher gable with a 38-degree roof pitch. On Monday we will get the new plans from the architect, I would like to hear your input then. Is it allowed to post that here?

Definitely. We have 250 plus an open space - a nice balance.

It is at least more than the standard. I don't know how far the planning is, but if you want more height, you can still save a lot on the floor construction. For example, by changing the insulation, the screed, and the floor covering.

Where you are now asking about a fake doubling of rafters that "disappear" due to construction, you have apparently forgotten that in the meantime :-(
