House construction in winter

In any case, additional effort for heating, as some building materials (screed) may only be processed above certain temperatures, also for masonry. Also consider coverings of open excavations, etc.

We will probably have turnkey construction done over the winter. Can additional costs still arise for us? According to the construction company, this is not the case. Does anyone have experience?

I do not know of any reputable provider who starts a construction project before winter if they cannot guarantee that the closed shell of the building can be completed before the bad weather. It should also be noted that almost all craft companies take company holidays during the Christmas season – half a shell would understandably not be the "be-all and end-all." Therefore, I don't see why additional costs should arise for you.

As for the story about the "tent," I cannot make any statement about it since I do not know the "fine print" ;)
