Hello

We would like to have the house connection box mounted on an internal load-bearing wall. Our builder believes that this is not possible because the empty conduit is not allowed to be laid in the foundation and would therefore come out of the floor slab about 12cm in front of the actual wall. The cable would then have to be bent slightly.
My question now is whether this is really that problematic? Does the energy supplier cause problems with that? For your information: the foundation is 45cm wide and the wall is 17.5+1.5cm plaster.

Conduits under the foundation for utility lines are common practice, even over somewhat longer distances, only for gas lines the conduit must not have any connections inside the conduit.

yes, if the pipe is routed horizontally through the foundation. Here it would have to be installed vertically and the foundation at that point would be "thinner" as a result.

Because that would be the optimal place for the space. All other places would involve restrictions.
I will probably have to contact the responsible network operator.

I had already thought that; although I don’t understand why you want to interfere with your provider’s work ....? Besides the installation, there are also safety clearances to be observed for later maintenance. For example, 1.20 m in front of the meter box ;) Once again for my better understanding: What is meant by "Hausanschlusskasten"? Exclusively the electrical connection entering the house or all utilities in the form of a multi-utility connection? Rhine regards

I do not understand this "spatially" at all. Why should the foundation be "thinner" if something is run through it vertically? That would be to be suspected if it were done horizontally. Are the terms confused or am I a bit slow?
