Good evening,
Also, talk to the KfW; there are not only loans but also grants.
Whether you can prepare the electrical work with a friend should be clarified with your utility provider. If the friend is a registered electrician—no problem.
All in all, you should be able to manage with your budget... provided no unexpected issues arise (which usually happens) and we share the same opinion on the term “high quality” ;-)
Construction expert on the go
First, find an expert with experience in existing buildings. If he is a trained bricklayer, even better. He will explain the condition of the property and what measures need to be taken. Often, he can give you good contacts for renovators with experience, so an architect is not necessarily required. In any case, I would recommend that you also hire an expert for ongoing support. We are currently working on a rough cost estimate and are struggling to assess the individual trades.
What is the best way to proceed? Should I have each trade come individually and request quotes?

I have just completed gutting of a comparable size. Don't imagine it to be that easy!I would do the gutting myself. Also the electrical work together with a friend. I also trust myself to lay the parquet.
