Hello,

is there a way to get a loan for a house despite a negative Schufa?
I have a normal salary, no debts, a little savings, but a completed yet still negative entry. It will probably take a little while until it is gone. However, I can prove that everything is settled. What are the chances?

Not so good! Where does the negative entry come from? Maybe the house bank can help you further.

With a negative Schufa entry, it becomes difficult to obtain financing. Call Schufa and explain that the entry has already been settled. Ask how it can be deleted – they will explain the options for deletion to you. It will probably come down to the fact that the deletion can be requested by the "Eintrager." You should then get in touch with this person. They should be able to verify whether the matter is resolved and therefore have no problem applying for the deletion. The best person to tell you if there are other ways to request the deletion is Schufa.

Comes from a mobile phone contract.

...I mean, it’s worth a try, but even I got rejections back then with a good Schufa.

Basically, it is possible to obtain financing with such a Schufa entry. Basically, the following applies to negative entries: you have to be able to explain why this entry exists. And of course, in such a way that the bank sees that the entry has nothing to do with poor creditworthiness, but is due to the other party. That would be the ideal case to talk the entry away.

When did you take care of the issue with the phone contract?
