Hello,
I hope someone can help us. For new buildings, the leak test of the base pipes is mandatory. Usually, this should be tested with compressed air after the piping is installed. Our house is now almost finished and we are about to move in. Neither our civil engineer, who did the house piping, nor the construction manager thought about the leak test.
Companies brought in to carry out the leak test said that a test with air in the almost finished state is no longer possible because too many pipes have already been laid and there is always a leak at one point during a pure compressed air test. What now?! Could there be difficulties with the building acceptance?! We don’t know what to do anymore.....
