Hello

Neither a backwater valve is required nor is the depth of the municipal sewer pipe decisive in this case.

All wastewater connections that are below the backwater level, which is the manhole cover of the inspection shaft, must be drained via a lifting system.
All other statements are incorrect!

The bathroom on the upper floor, for example, would then not be routed through the lifting system and would therefore also be fully usable even when it is in operation.

No backwater valve? What happens during heavy rain?

Hello

If the backwater level is below the lowest wastewater connection, nothing at all. #

I had interpreted the initial question as this condition not being met.

I now have a knot in my head! 1. The (lowest) wastewater connection of the house is located below the backwater level. 2. A lifting system is required. 3. Is a backwater valve also required?
