Hello dear community

We need your help because we think that something might not have gone quite right with our heating-up program or with the process.

Below are the steps after the screed was laid

1. 06 - 07.09.2018 Screed laying (cement screed in a two-story building)
2. 14.09.2018 Start ventilation (morning and evening)
3. 05.10.2018 Start heating phase
4. 06.10.2018 EA/49 error (according to the plumber, possibly air in the gas line, nothing unusual)
5. 14.10.2018 35°C
6. 16.10.2018 45°C
7. 17.10.2018 50°C
8. 18.10.2018 52°C
9. 19.10.2018 52°C
10. 22.10.2018 50°C
11. 23.10.2018 26°C
12. 24.10.2018 20°C
13. 25.10.2018 OFF

Now to the actual question, is this process okay? We thought it should proceed in 5-degree increments?

Does the screed get damaged as a result? Is there something we can do/check?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards

The heating program should be preset in modern/new heaters. You press the button and then it runs for 14 days. Haven't you set up any construction dryers beforehand?

Very few have installed the heating when the screed arrives. After all, it also has to be placed somewhere.

What do you mean? Heating systems have heating phases, and the OP is asking if the program is set correctly.

Don't understand the statement either...

We didn't have any drying units. Before the heating program was started, the house was already well ventilated and dried. Of course, heating up released a lot of moisture from the screed, but all within limits.

I'm really only concerned about the timeframe and the steps of heating up and cooling down.

well, you can also make a science out of it... basically, it's enough to just keep the heating running. In the end, the moisture has to be right for the floor coverings and then the heating should be off.
