If for another interested party: We have now, in consultation with the heating engineer, decided on a very tight installation in the edge areas via a separate heating circuit.

Hello Merlin83, with my parents it was exactly the same that a convector heater in front of the windows was recommended. The conservatory has been standing for about 12 years and the convector was not on a single time and my parents live in the Alps where in winter there can be 0.5m of snow on the outside of the windows. At the beginning they were a bit annoyed to have installed the radiator. But now many flowers stand on it and it hardly stands out anymore. It always depends on how the rest of the heating situation is. At my parents' place, there is a masonry stove at the transition between the living room, dining room and conservatory which heats the whole house. In the transition period spring / autumn the conservatory heats the rest of the house through solar radiation. But it depends on the orientation.

I had hoped 'wrobel' would have answered you; apparently he hasn't read or has overlooked the thread.

Your conservatory isn't so huge that a radiator would have to be installed; there is always the problem of ordering, such as a mixer. Our heating specialists solve it exactly as your heating engineer recommended to you. I didn't want to write it before a smarter person than me, a professional, made the suggestion to you; after all, I am not a heating engineer and therefore quickly reach my limits with more advanced technical questions. I know how it works, but not exactly what the technical way to get there has to look like.

Nice that it was so easy for you to solve it ;)

Rhenish greetings

Would an internal or external structural system be more suitable for us, or is it really just a matter of taste?

Hello Hello

I actually only read this topic after the solution was finalized. Since I would have suggested it the same way, I did not respond further.

Does anyone still have an idea about the internal or external statics?
