Hi, first of all, thanks for your answers.

To explain the system on my end, I have made a sketch.

Ok, so that means I have to install a washing machine meter on each consumer from the boiler.
I have five of them (four levels of underfloor heating and the water tank).

Then I can calculate exactly how much each consumer has used based on the gas consumption.

So far, that is clear to me.

However, I don’t have a meter installed for warm water. This is only installed with the tenant, so on the first and top floors.

Does that cause any problems?

Also, the question is, how do I calculate the warm water consumption when the solar system has heated the water?

The heated water should not be used at my expense. After all, I paid for the system.

Hi

That doesn’t work yet. You also need water meters for each unit.
You could also determine the solar yield using heat meters – but precision is required there.

I wouldn’t find it proper to sell the solar yield to the tenants either.
The system is part of the heat generation, and I would consider it included in the rent price.

Can't I just take value X per m3 of hot water? There must be values for the energy consumed per m3 of hot water.

Hi

Yes Q = M x C x delta T

but you still need to know how much water was used

Hi, the water consumption is determined for the tenant by a cold water and hot water meter. If I don't care about the heat losses, can't I then do without the heat meters for my area as well as the water tank?
