Hello,

can you recommend an air heat pump that would be good for our house?
What information is needed to correctly calculate the heat pump?
Which products are quite good? I only read something from Stiftung Warentest from 2007, found nothing else.

We are building a house with 140 m² (ground floor + attic) Kfw 70 with 0.19 wall insulation.
In addition, a granny flat with 40 m² (basement). Complete underfloor heating.

What kind of heat pump do we need here? I would be very grateful for help as I cannot find anything about this on the internet.

For the house, a Viessmann Vitocal 350-A with 10.6 kW - 200 L heating buffer + 390 L domestic hot water buffer was recommended / offered to us.

Alternatively, the Viessmann Vitocal 222-S was offered to us, but I don't think much of it....

Here I find the Vitocal 300-A better; it has a better annual performance factor and can also cool. Is 9 kW enough for me?

Which other heat pump can you recommend? Vaillant VWL 102/2

For ventilation, we probably want to install a Vaillant recoVAIR 275 separately.

Thanks in advance for your opinion....

Hello,
take a look at the Mitsubishi Zubadan 10kW heat pump. The Zubadan is currently one of the best air/water heat pumps; it operates at 100% capacity even at -15°C and works down to -25°C. Additionally, there is a solar system with vacuum tubes.
For example, the solar system alone has been running for 4 weeks except for the last 2 days when the heat pump helped keep the combination storage tank warm, and this in an old building without insulation.
How many people live in the house?
What is the heating load of the house?
How large is the garden for the installation of the outdoor unit?
Is a combination storage tank (800 - 1000 liters) with multiple connections available for possible subsequent heat carriers?
Consider only heat pumps with refrigerant R410.
Is it desirable to adjust the heating parameters via iPad, iPhone, computer, etc.?

Good luck with your selection...

Hello,
No, because the data from the basic assessment must be available for this. => Actual demand (capacity, energy) for heating, hot water, and ventilation. Anyone who gives recommendations here is simply not serious. So unfair advertising should be thrown straight into the trash.
Your HVAC planner should actually be able to help with this. If there isn’t one, the topic of air heat pumps can easily become a money pit.
