Dear forum,
we bought an apartment in the Munich suburbs from the developer (ground floor with hobby room in the basement). The shell construction is currently in full progress and so far we are very satisfied with the developer and its project management (the developer also enjoys a good reputation). The responsible project manager is always approachable for us and has so far been able to competently answer our questions. The entire residential complex is being constructed with reinforced concrete walls and to KfW55 standard.
Today we were near the construction site and were able to take a look at our future apartment from the outside. We noticed that there is a rather large gap between the insulation and the reinforced concrete wall in the upper area of a basement wall (see photos attached).
We are complete laymen when it comes to building and of course still far from taking over the apartment in terms of time (expected move-in date is autumn 2019). Nevertheless, we would like to know if there is something wrong, especially since the insulation will no longer be visible at the handover later. Therefore, our questions:
Thank you very much in advance for your assessment and have a nice weekend!

Nevertheless, we would like to know if there is something wrong, especially since the insulation will no longer be visible at the handover later. Therefore, our questions:
[*]Does this gap in the upper area pose a problem at all or will it probably be fixed in the course of further construction progress? In picture 4 you can see how the transition from the wall to the meadow will look in the end (previous construction phase same developer).
[*]If the insulation is indeed not professionally installed, should we contact the project manager and describe our observation to him? Or would that be making a fool of ourselves?
Thank you very much in advance for your assessment and have a nice weekend!
