Has anyone here already installed liquid linoleum?

The covering you bought and apparently installed yourself advertises a thickness of 3mm and seamless installation.

The floor was not installed by myself, but by a professional contractor, whom we found on the Duracryl applicator list on their homepage.
If I had done it myself, I would probably be satisfied for the first time. But I hired a specialist company for that and I expect different results.

The foreign body inclusions are caused by the fact that the subfloor was not sanded and vacuumed before the liquid material was applied.
It cannot be explained otherwise if the bulges cannot be pressed down by pressure (for example with the tip of a knife).
If they can be pressed down, they are air bubbles, which also come from the installation substrate, lodged in pore openings there at the time.
Specialist companies will prime after sanding the installation substrate and apply a scratch filler, which after curing is briefly sanded again (and vacuumed).
Only then does the installation of the liquid material begin.

The substrate was a new screed floor. Also laid by a specialist company and dried according to their instructions, with a little additional rest time until the floor covering came.
Sanding, vacuuming, priming, and scratch filling were, as far as I can judge, also all carried out.
If the substrate was, for whatever reason, not suitable, it would also have been the task of the specialist company, in my opinion, to point this out and suggest another floor covering.

Whether in the end it is due to the material or the craftsman or the processing: I do not know.
It is just very annoying when you hire a specialist company and in the end this is the result.

Then the problem that you can’t just take out a tile or a parquet board and replace it, but that these are huge areas and the repair can only be done with a one-and-a-half-week vacation because the areas cannot be stepped on between the steps.
For these reasons, I would not choose this floor again and thought that my experience might help people who still have to make the decision.
