It's written above: Ask a lawyer or do what they say. I think the crux could be the acceptance that has taken place. My brother had a very similar case, but he was able to successfully prevent the acceptance, which was attempted with all fair and unfair means. All the other co-owners were left with their damages due to the acceptance, and they do not have a completion bond.

Well, first I would probably have to scrape ice off my crystal ball to find out whether you even have a VOB/B contract or rather a construction contract under the Building Code. What I am absolutely sure of, however, is that you have already received the advice to ask your lawyer instead of us several times.

If the administrator is appointed, call quickly and get something in writing. Better to wait a few weeks than to waste a lot of money... The administrator is obligated to collect every claim, whether justified or not. Officially you still owe 36k. At the same time, you have a claim against the administrator for 36k worth of work done. And that would be covered by the insolvency estate.... So better to wait
