Pax is also our first choice and would fit well. However, I wonder if the normal white doors chip when cutting?

Did you then edge band the edges?

We did not have to shorten the doors, so I can't tell you exactly if it chips. But when I think about the screw holes of our Paxtür doors for the handles, it could happen. Even there, the paint around the hole is so torn and chipped.

I have cut taupe-colored doors and it went very smoothly. I left the protective film on while sawing. Whether "white" behaves differently is unclear, as the material is somewhat different.

Not yet - as so often the edge banding was missing that day and then... . Since the door is part of a shortened corner element, the cut edge is not visible when the door is closed.
