Hello,

we are currently planning a house build and are still unsure. We would actually like to have a geothermal heat pump but don't know if the kfw55 is still feasible.

A gas connection would already be available since an old house used to stand there and the connections are present. But we also know that gas prices are rising quite a bit.

What are your opinions on this? What is more sensible?

Depends on how many m2 and which region.

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The house has about 156 m2 and the plot 1800 m2

Or air heat pump? Is more economical than ground source heat pump. Although with the property a [Ringgrabenkollektor] could also be interesting. Don't know if there is still funding for it. If so, you can possibly even install it yourself at no cost. At least that's what I read once.

If you want that, then do it! And don't let anyone talk you out of it. With the plot size, everything is open to you.

Yes, with the size of the property, I would prefer a brine-water heat pump with ring trench collectors. Gas is not a future-proof resource. With a brine-water heat pump, you can quite easily achieve kfw40 and still receive the subsidies. You should calculate that. I would always install photovoltaics additionally.
