Gas network connection is being installed - currently oil heating

I agree with the others, even if you want to stick with oil, at this price you should have the connection installed

Talked to an energy consultant over the weekend, who said one should switch to renewable energy (Pellets, heat pump, fuel cell or solar)

But I also think that the ~ €1,200 is not a bad investment.

Conversely, Thüga is offering me something that will be banned in 4 years .. somehow it feels a bit strange.

The main question is whether you want to switch as cheaply or as sustainably (?) as possible. Gas is still one of the cheapest options.

With the natural gas connection, you can also operate a fuel cell. You really don't want a hydrogen tank in your basement.
