Hello FelixPrüfer
My father created the garage driveway in the 60s with those colorful tiles, it was just modern back then. It was also a DIY job using only some sand to level out the unevenness under the tiles and despite everything it held up wonderfully. After a new driveway was built, the tiles were used for the garage floor for several years because the old concrete slab had to be removed since the new driveway is lower than the old one. My father then wanted a concrete floor again and these tiles were then used, among other things, for the path. The size of the tiles varies. I don't have the measurements in my head right now and can't measure at the moment because it is a bit dark outside and it is probably still raining. But I could still provide them later. I laid the tiles as close together as possible. They are so close that even weeds have trouble taking root.
