Garden shed near property boundary - permission required?

I have a question:

The planned construction is a garden shed, 3 x 3.60 m, approximately 2.30 m high. The building project is in Bavaria. The garden shed has no fireplace, purely a storage shed. The affected boundary is 52 m long.

The ideal location is 2.30 m away from the neighbor. On his side there is a garage, which is 3.10 m away from the garden shed.

The neighbor is a single early retiree and an impossible troublemaker – therefore prior coordination is not possible.

On our side there is a 20 m long privacy screen, 2 m high, which was specially approved by the municipality. But no building.

Do you see any legal objections to the construction? Building regulations (there is nothing about it in the development plan) or fire protection?

An excerpt from the land register helps to answer here. In [BY], garden houses up to 75m3 of enclosed space are exempt from approval. Inform the neighbor about your project and find out whether you will comply with all applicable building regulations with the garden house. Approval-free does not mean that you do not have to follow the rules.
