What kind of tank connection WC? Outdoor taps usually get a pipe vent or backflow preventer. That is a completely normal drinking water installation (see rick2018). Therefore, once again the question: What kind of installation do you mean?

I once read that the outdoor tap pipe line should best be installed in a loop or directly at a point where water flows often (supply line for WC cistern, kitchen...). Only in this way do you have water circulation and no germs get into the water.
