similar with us regarding close to the neighbor, we used a 3 in 1 glaze, primer - impregnate - glaze, and painted all boards and beams twice and assembled them after drying. Important is colored glaze, with colorless the wood turns gray

The 3 in 1 sounds interesting. But then doesn’t the phenomenon mentioned by occur, that the tongue and groove no longer fit?

And the 3 in 1 is therefore available in different colors?

This is not a thick coat glaze, so tongue and groove still fit. Our general contractor had recommended the glaze for the wooden parts of the house, and we reordered it for the carport and shed. It is available in various colors.

What kind of quantity does one need? The garden house is supposed to be in a kind of Sweden red and the windows/door in white. Anyone have a tip if there is a (similar) red also as a 3 in 1? Remmers definitely does not have it... in the 3 in 1 version. Otherwise just a primer and then the red as an additional coat?

I would do it like that,
primer and over it Swedish red and white.
There are certainly experiences with that.
