Garden fence - welded wire fence - located on a slope - retaining wall?

The planting rings can be filled with soil. But they should support the slope at an angle, not exactly vertically.

Why not build gabions yourself? At a height of 1.20 m, that's no problem. And also cheaper than the L-blocks. But please add a [Stabmattenzaun] on top because of the risk of falling!

I also quite like the idea with the gabions. But you have to be aware that 10 meters will easily cost you 2-3k € or even more. Alternatively, pour a foundation, put concrete blocks on it, and place the fence on the concrete blocks. However, you should fill the stones with reinforcement and concrete; 1.2m is a lot of pressure.
