Garage sectional door vs. roller door

I see the "roller shutter box" but have to lie in front of the gate :-( Why don't you rather clad your sectional door with concavely profiled panels, where do you see the advantage of the louvered door?

How high should the garage be (or how low the door), if you want to push the box into the lintel / ring beam level (which incidentally will also result in a very deep door recess)? – You seem to lack the idea that with slats curved against the winding direction, the winding sausage diameter simply increases so that we are talking about a 50 instead of 30 cm box. Although I don’t understand much about soccer otherwise, your roller shutter box is clearly offside here if you don’t want to wind the slats against their curvature, even though their concave side is supposed to face outward.
