Garage roof: roof tiles or trapezoidal sheet - recommendations?

Hello,

which roofing is more suitable for a garage? The same tiles as on the house or trapezoidal sheet metal.

We have the following considerations, although we are not sure if one can say this generally:

Trapezoidal sheet metal is significantly cheaper.
But it is loud during rain and hail.
Visually, it looks less elegant.

Roof tiles appear more elegant and are more durable.
But they are more expensive.

Are there any other things to consider?
What would you choose?

This is a comparison of apples and oranges: bricks or concrete roof tiles are better suited for pitched roofs, while flat roofs are "better off" with metal cladding. Carports usually don't have tiled roofs either, and the rain does not get louder depending on whether the carport is enclosed with walls.

Just "by the way": what kind of house is supposed to stand next to it?

The single-family house has a gable roof, and the double garage will also have a gable roof. Garage and house are therefore not connected.

The garage/carport roof was now covered without consultation with the same roof tiles as the house. However, we are not upset about that. However, due to the higher weight, an additional support pillar had to be installed afterwards. But all this without extra charge. According to the building description, trapezoidal sheet metal was actually planned.
