I agree. We got several quotes for a 9m long double garage, double carport with extension, or carport-garage combination. There wasn’t much difference in price.

I can absolutely understand leaving the garage out for now and tackling it later – besides, there might also be a subsidy/grant for barrier-free parking spaces, which you don’t get with the initial new build...
