In summer it is warm inside. I have never measured it, but it can easily reach 35°. However, the car is definitely not as hot as in the sun. There it usually goes towards 50-60°. In summer, when we are there, we often have the side entrance door open anyway, so there is some draft. It is comparable to a cold roof. It also completely handles the temperature fluctuations.

In winter there are no fogged-up windows.

No, the steel garage provides shade like a carport but also blocks the draft – both over sizzling floors and over frozen ones. So the car neither gets as hot nor as cold as it would when parked under a streetlight. However, the material simply does not have the capacity to smooth out the fluctuations of the daily climate.
