Hello everyone,
I am currently planning a garage that will be built with aerated concrete blocks.
Now, a part of the wall will not be able to be plastered because it will be built directly against the neighbor's prefabricated garage. The stone used will be 17.5 aerated concrete.
In addition, my garage is higher, and therefore the shed roof of the neighbor's garage ends at my garage wall.
My thoughts on this:
Is the aerated concrete block durable without exterior plaster at this spot? This area is protected from driving rain by the neighbor's garage, but moisture will certainly get into the intermediate area or more water if the neighbor's gutter overflows.
How is such an intermediate area usually sealed?
I would appreciate experiences and information.
Best regards
Peter
