hello

we are not at all satisfied with the work of a floor layer. we also believe that the work delivered by him neither meets any standards nor the slightest requirements for quality.

after a short and concise conversation with the floor layer, it became clear that he considers the work to be completed on his part - in his opinion there are no defects.

since we cannot accept this and therefore do not want to pay the invoice as it is, we feel forced to take the "legal route". this can only be done through a neutral expert opinion, right? even though this will probably be relatively expensive and tedious.

does anyone know such a company in Switzerland that does expert assessments and is recommended?

who ultimately has to bear the costs here??

i am grateful for information - wolly

Hello,

unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone to you. But the path is the right one, since there is no basis for a conversation. The relatively high costs must ultimately be borne by the one who is in the wrong at the end of the legal dispute... so consider the risk carefully... if you are sure that you are right, then fight for your right.

Best regards
Sandy

Hello wolly,

I also think that if your floor installer made serious mistakes during installation, you can definitely hold him accountable. Of course, you probably won't achieve much out of court. But just give it a try and try to talk to him again.
