Hello, I hope I am in the right area here. First of all, thanks for the great forum, I have already enjoyed reading along in one or the other corner.

Now I need concrete help, as I cannot find a precise answer to my concern.

Our house is currently under construction. A multi-utility house entry is available. I have already ordered Telekom, installation is planned for summer.

Am I correct in seeing that I have to have a conduit (DN 75?!?) laid for the copper connection? Or a larger pipe?

Fiber optic is not yet available here (developing country Germany ). Do I have to lay an additional empty conduit for a possible fiber optic connection in the future (so a total of two)? Does this also have to be DN 75?

I do not quite understand the Telekom websites and would rather not trust the hotline, one has already read a lot of bad things.

Thank you in advance for answers!

Kind regards!

Glass can later be pulled through with the copper or instead of copper through these introductions. Ideally, use kabuflex 75 and include a new pull wire when pulling in the copper cable.

I also laid a conduit from the multi-duct entry to the front towards the street. Of course, with the same diameter as the pipes of the multi-duct entry. I think it was DN75. It is socketed there. You can then push the copper cable through, and when the time comes, the fiber optic can go through there; you don't need a second conduit.

Ok someone was faster.

One more note about the pull wire. You don’t have to pull it in right away.
I have laid all the cables in empty conduits throughout the entire house. For those on the floor, I pulled the cables in immediately. For those embedded in the concrete ceiling, of course, only later. And you can wonderfully use mason’s line for that. Put in a loop and tie some paper to it, then hold it at one side of the empty conduit and use a vacuum cleaner on the other side. It goes through relatively easily.

But not with DN 75
You need a suction device of the brand "Orkan 3000" with additional adapter duct tape.

Either you take the old copper cable and pull the glass tube through with it, or the second pull wire. In case of overbuild (i.e. double installation) you don't want to cut the copper.

I thank everyone for the very kind and well-founded answers. So I will have a DN75 pipe laid along and that’s that. You have helped me a lot.
