Hello!
We have purchased a fully developed plot of land and would like to build a prefabricated house on it. The building application is in process. Today we met with a civil engineer who is supposed to prepare the foundation slab. He said we should inquire whether the pipe for the sewage channel is already at the property boundary. (There would be some kind of plug on it) Our future neighbor asked his father-in-law and later informed us that this is probably not the case. (At their place, it was at least not like that.)
So we would have to dig about 7-8 meters, fortunately there is still a construction road, lay a pipe to the sewage pipe, and then restore everything. But we thought a fully developed plot is a plot where this work has already been done. We understand that we have to connect the pipes from the house to the sewer, but having to extend the lines further now is going to be much more expensive than we thought...
What is your opinion?
Thanks and best regards
Steffi
