Hello,

I have heard about a full repayment loan and that there is also the possibility of a special repayment here. Now I would be interested to know whether a special repayment shortens the term of the loan, or whether the monthly installments would be adjusted afterwards?

Looking forward to answers.

Best regards Jochen

Among other things, we have a 20-year full repayment loan (meaning the calculated loan term is equal to the fixed interest period). We have agreed on a 5% special repayment for this. In our case, the loan term will typically be shortened.

However, there is a clause that allows, after consultation with the bank, the installments to be adjusted; but the fixed interest period limit must not be exceeded.
