Simply complain to the supplier. The tender text says nothing about the foiling, only the "as in the exhibition" could refer to it. And have the door removed again anyway, whether the foil is correct or not. It belongs in at the very end. Unless you are building with a general contractor or developer and have no own trades on site - then it is clear who is liable for damages.

The door in the exhibition is foiled. We are building with a general contractor and the correct front door panel will come later. But the frames are already there, from which you can tell the color of the front door panel.
