Hello, I'm new here and have a question right away.

We are moving soon and want to place our TV in front of the sofa as a room divider. I would like to have the Framsta panel as a back wall, maybe a shelf on the side. Since framsta is designed for wall mounting, I would have to attach a shelf with a back panel on the backside. Do you think that would work?

The backside should also look nice.

The first question that arises for me is how the shelf is to be attached so that it cannot easily tip over with the weight of Framsta and the television.

Exactly that was my question. Had the idea to place a shelf with a back panel behind it, maybe 40cm deep, as a visual cover and kind of as a support.

I understood that. The question is whether the shelf with Framsta could tip over, especially if there is a playful little monkey in the household. It will depend on the shelf and the mass of the television whether that is safe. In general, it cannot be said. You are on the safe side if you anchor the shelf to the ceiling.

We have a cat. The shelf should be about 1.40m high. (3framsta units) In case of emergency, the TV can also be placed instead of hung. With two base units in a row, it should actually be stable enough, right? The ceiling height is over 2.40m, I had already thought of a Stolmen.

3 FRAMSTA = 96 cm. In combination with Stolmen would be a good option. You only need to create a connection from Framsta to the connecting fitting. If Framsta is not attached to the wall, you can insert a panel insert on both sides. Two Framsta facing each other are then not necessary.
