Good day dear house building community,

we are currently preparing the base slab or foundation for our garage. Since we have a rather rocky soil and were able to neatly separate the earth and stones with the help of a trommel screen, I am wondering whether I could simply use the stones instead of getting more crushed stone or gravel, or I thought maybe just 2/3 stones and 1/3 gravel. This way I have less work and save money on disposing of the stones.

The foundation is supposed to be 3.15x9.15m in size.

kind regards & thanks

Why not? I see nothing that speaks against it.
