Does it have any disadvantages if I forgo the parapets and install the roller shutter boxes directly under the concrete ceiling on the ground floor and under the ring beam on the upper floor?

Whether with or without lintels, proper installation of windows is a matter of luck. The pass rate of certified professionals in this area leaves much to be desired.
