Follow-up financing experiences?

If I were you, I'd really be afraid. Without Dad, the lights would go out pretty quickly! But hey, I'm sure you still have enough to get there if it goes wrong :) what are you worried about? Daddy will take care of it, right? Honestly, I don't understand.

What does this have to do with my father now? What is he supposed to regulate? Why should the light be off when he is no longer there? The question is simply how to best design something like this in the future.

That's why you have to ask here as well (a little joke on the side ;) ) Yes, time and your dad meant well for you :) Write off your own and finance the rental!

How about rent increases? What would be possible over the next 10 years?
Ultimately, if it doesn’t pay off: sell.

For now, I would also make special repayments on the single-family house, but only a little. I would first save money to build liquidity in case something unexpected happens with the multifamily house: repairs, rent defaults, etc. That might help against sleepless nights.

The choice of your title "sleepless nights" suggests that you are seriously worried. That means, without daddy you would already be finished anyway.
