We need to specify the floor covering thickness for the screed installer. We are uncertain about how to specify the mortar bed for the tiles and the parquet adhesive for the parquet. How is something like this indicated? To be installed are

[Parkett 14mm plus Parkettkleber]
[Fliesen einmal 8mm und einmal 9mm plus Mörtel]
[Vinyl 4,2mm Trittschalldämmung 1,5mm]

Just pass it on as written here, I strongly hope the screed layer is not doing this for the first time. Depending on the covering, you might also need leveling compound; for that, you need to know the screed quality, which the screed master knows best….

Otherwise, don’t you have a site manager?!

Did you tell the screed layer that during house construction (without mortar, adhesive, etc.) or are you just guessing now :)

Yep, for the bathroom the main contractor’s tiler automatically communicated everything and since we had opted out of the standard laminate, he contacted us to find out our coverings, he didn’t care about the glue, he calculated that himself. However, we only have a change of covering from hallway to tiles on one level… otherwise uniform per floor. Don’t forget to inform the door maker as well right away

Now we are slowly but surely getting to the bottom of it. You didn’t lay the floors yourself and built with GU. I need someone here who has individual contracting and does the floors themselves

then please ask your suppliers for the floor material. They should be able to provide you with the necessary information. It is also a good idea to call in the floor covering specialist ;)

P.S. We built with individual contracts and laid the floors ourselves. We calculated the difference for the screed layer ourselves and it fit except for two millimeters. This was then adjusted to the frame depth with leveling compound
