Flooring for fitness room/home theater

I would choose linoleum for dumbbells and the like. If primarily only Pilates and Yoga are done on the floor, classic parquet. Needle felt will very likely start to smell after years.

Linoleum or vinyl, both are great to clean. Needle felt..... in our fitness studio, mostly linoleum lies and felt only in the floor mat area. Easy to wipe I find more hygienic, especially where a lot of sweating occurs.

I can only agree with my predecessors.

Thanks in advance for the answers. From an acoustic point of view (because of the home cinema) smooth floor coverings are certainly not so suitable. However, they are easier to clean. I will probably use a kind of carpet and cover the fitness corner with rubber mats.
