Hello,

we are currently building. On the ground floor (underfloor heating), the screed was apparently laid in two stages (see photo). It looks like they stopped in the middle of the room on Friday and continued on Monday.

Could this cause problems? If so, what kind?

Many thanks in advance!

In my opinion, no problem is to be expected, as both parties form a homogeneous connection.

I do not understand enough about this to venture an assessment. But when I consider that screed is normally worked on by cutting in, inserting connectors, and then resin sealing the cuts, I would at least have some slight doubts whether the procedure is okay as it is.
