Hello everyone, the screed will be done in our house next week. Since we are a bit behind schedule, we would like to start plastering, then the flooring and painting, a little earlier than the 6 weeks. Now my question is whether this is even possible. We have an air-to-air heat pump, which is certainly good for drying. Additionally, 3 construction dryers will be set up. What do you think? From when would it be possible? Depending on screed measurements? Unfortunately, I don’t know what type of screed is being laid. Only that there are 3 floors, with 15 cm at the bottom and 12 cm at the top. Thanks to you all in advance. Regards Zenjamino

My condolences. Yes, screed as you write depends on the measurements. What kind of plaster? It should already be on the wall before the screed.

There is the possibility to pour a fast screed for an additional cost. It contains water-binding additives, so it can be ready for covering after just a few days. We have such screed and it caused no problems.

By plaster I mean the puttying Q3. Since this is self-performed work, it will be done after the screed. My developer does not want to do it with the additives, as he has not had good experiences with them. We would now plan to do the plastering after 5 weeks and then install the floors. Just thought maybe someone also has experience with this.

Well, you can do the plastering after 2 weeks, most of the water is gone by then, and you ventilate 3 times a day anyway. Plastering and sanding also take their time, painting too, then you can do the floors at the earliest after 6 weeks anyway, so it fits.

Agree with Lumpi, you need to do the puttying beforehand. We have been puttying since the temperatures dropped from the functional heating phase, otherwise everything will crack again.
