I see option 1 the same way as 11ant I could still like option 2 as a holiday apartment.

Indeed, a somewhat unusual single-family house. The house is located on the south-facing slope with a beautiful view. Therefore, we placed the living/dining area on the attic floor. The decision has now been made for variant 2. Thank you very much for your contributions!
