The thing with the PE foil is no longer necessary. At the bottom unnecessary because nowadays nothing attacks the insulation anymore; it used to be different in the past. At the top also unnecessary since there is a Rolljet. The welding membrane already ensures tightness against moisture.

I read here in the house construction forum that they managed it with a cutter. Cut the aluminum, break off the rest, cut the other aluminum side. But I also still have a handheld circular saw, with which I handled the Wedi boards well. Otherwise, I could try it with the Alligator. Trial makes wise; somehow it will work out.

That "works" with a cutter, you just won't like it for the thicknesses

A circular hand saw should also work, but check beforehand what cutting depth your device has. It would be a bummer if the lower aluminum layer had to be cut again every time with the 60mm panels.

However, if you have to cut around cables on the floor and/or have many offsets in the floor plan, I would reconsider the jigsaw or reciprocating saw. A circular saw is great for long, straight cuts, but for notching out small corners or even curved cuts, it's extremely unsuitable.

Good luck!

Just as feedback, in case others are in the same situation. Cutting works perfectly with a box cutter and a long blade.
