Good evening,
in 2004 I had my flat roof - bungalow built in 1980, flat roof as a cold roof in wooden construction, covered with roofing felt - reroofed, the costs were about €6,700 for approximately 200 sqm of roof area.
Since I still have to check it every year, I am thinking about having a roof truss for a gable roof or hipped roof with regular roof tiles built for the next scheduled renovation instead. It is definitely not about additional living space, but purely about the type of roof covering.
Of course, this requires a building permit etc., which should not be a problem nowadays. A structural engineer is certainly also necessary.
Above all, the drainage would have to be solved, since there are currently two sewage pipes in the middle of the flat roof.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Would it be energetically beneficial?
What costs can I expect approximately?
Are there other alternatives that are more reasonable?
Thank you in advance!
