So when I cycle through the neighborhood, I am quite sure that it harms me if all the chimneys are smoking here. And there are some who have to heat like that.

The whole thing is intensified when I "just put on a little" fuel, the temperature is low, and therefore combustion does not occur cleanly. But I think that a lot will change in the next few years.

We also have a fireplace, but not a built-in one. That’s why, like Sebastian, I advise against using storage modules; the house with its insulation is its own storage. It gets warm anyway... Therefore, during the transitional period, it’s very practical to keep the underfloor heating switched off, an advantage. Regulation is truly done with the window.

I didn't say that you have to operate the oven too cold. At the beginning, it has to get reasonably hot, but after that it's enough to just add one piece, not two or three. And after 2 hours the magic is gone anyway, because you have 26° in the place. No matter how you do it.

Have a look at the company Hase. There are also visually appealing ones there. We have the Sendai

We also have a rabbit. The Luno. It has a specified power output of 3 - 7 kW.

Works great.

I was not thinking of a metal chimney but rather integrated into the wall. Built from bricks or assembled from precast stones with a fireplace insert.
