Hello, is your income already from the public sector or still the old one? Will it stay that way

further conversation with the construction company to clarify whether he can (and wants to) push us back from the 17 buildings to gain some more breathing room.

Am I understanding this correctly? The contractor wants to persuade you to sign a contract without a detailed construction description attached to his offer? Or how should I understand the "first come, first served" thing?
