Hello everyone,
we are in the process of buying a house and are already busy planning which work we will carry out.
To enlarge the bathroom on the upper floor a bit, we would have to remove some non-load-bearing walls and replace them with drywall. We want to lay tiles and laminate on the floors.
Removing the walls will create a gap in the screed (at least that's what I assume) which I want to properly fill again and connect to the existing screed.
Can someone tell me what the correct way would be to carry this out? I don't want a makeshift solution and later cracks in the floor or wall.
Unfortunately, you can find many tips on the internet, such as filling with leveling compound.
I am grateful for any tip.
